• Log-in to SkyDrive using your existing Live account login credentials
• You will see a notification at the top of the page. Click on it

• In case you don’t see such notification on the main page, click on “Manage storage” from the left menu.
• On the next page, you would see “free upgrade” button. Click on that link to get 25GB free storage.

Thats it, now you are proud owner of 25GB of cloud space on Microsoft servers.

• If you do not see any upgrade button on your skydrive page even on “manage storage” page. That might mean you rarely use Hotmail/Live. It is suggested that use hotmail a week, upload some files to your skydrive account and keep checking your “manager storage” page.
