Next Google Nexus Phone Coming This Month
It is almost a year for the release of Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but rumors regarding the next Google Nexus Phone are already on the move which is likely to be revealed in this month itself.
A report from AndroidandMe states that three sources have confirmed the next Nexus will arrive in the next 30 days, along with an update to Android Jelly Bean. The update may not be complete, but can consist of latest features at best. The next full version of Android is Key Lime Pie, but we don’t think will be released before next year.
The next Nexus could be released at techfest by Google’s Android supreme Andy Rubin. This is the same stage when he gave us the first look of the Motorola Xoom in 2012, introducing the world to Honeycomb. The next Nexus will follow routes of the Galaxy Nexus, that was announced a year ago now, and the more recent Google Nexus 7 tablet.
In the past there has only been one Nexus phone at a time, influencing the Android line-up, but reports say as many as five Nexus tablets and phones could be in the making.
Samsung, Sony and LG were the first names out of the list, with the predicted 5 inch HTC One X phone to be the Google Nexus 5.
Those who are waiting for the next Nexus and debating how it would do against the Galaxy S3, One X or the iPhone 5, can share their thoughts at the comments tab below.
