Samsung Updating Galaxy S III With ‘Premium Suite’; Take A Look Here

Throughout 2012 Samsung have made a decent name for themselves updating their devices promptly and with little hassle. Since the Galaxy S III’s launch there may have only been a couple of revisions to Android in the form of Jelly Bean – 4.1 and 4.2 – but Samsung have done a good job updating the flagship. They’ve not just updated the software under the hood but they’ve also gone and added some more to the most recent build of TouchWiz present on the device.  The Galaxy Note II has been treated much the same and the Galaxy S II and the original Note are continuing to be update as well. All in all, this is a much better Samsung than the days of the Galaxy S not getting Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
We’ve heard that Samsung were planning on bringing the Multi-Window feature to the Galaxy S III and it looks like they’re ready to bring a whole lot more to TouchWiz through its “Premium Suite” Update. In true Samsung fashion, they’ve released a video for you to take a look at it and presumably be in awe about the new features you’ll be getting, take a look below:
As you can see in the video, Samsung are bringing a number of tweaks to the Galaxy S III and while some of them, like Contextual Tag could be useful but it seems like Samsung are just adding features for the sake of it. I can see that some people might find some good uses for the new features but, in the grand scheme of things I think Galaxy S III owners are more interested in getting hold of the Android 4.2 update. For those out there that really like TouchWiz I’m sure the new features will be welcome. Contextual Menu is another feature that actually makes quite a bit of sense and lists applications that you use frequently, which is a pretty nifty addition if you use a lot of apps that are further down the alphabet. Then there is of course, the added Multi-Window feature which doesn’t work with all apps but there is a good chance that most of your daily apps work with it – YouTube works for instance.
