Windows Phone 8 coming soon, says Sprint
Sprint says that Windows Phone 8 will be coming to the carrier soon. Usually when you see that kind of news, it is coming from an anonymous insider who has knowledge of the mobile operator's plans. Not this time. Sprint has put up a support page for Windows Phone 8 titled "Learn more about Windows Phone 8," and immediately below it says, "Windows Phone 8 is coming soon!".
Sprint is the only one of the four major U.S. that hasn't embraced Windows Phone 8.Come to think of it, the nation's third largest carrier hasn't really supported Windows Phone at all, only offering 2011's HTC Arrive. An announcement could be made at next week's CES 2013 show in Las Vegas. If not then, there is always MWC in Barcelona the following month. Like Sprint, Verizon also had been cool to Windows Phone 7 but is currently offering the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the Nokia Lumia 822 and has plans to offer the Samsung ATIV Odyssey, all Windows Phone 8 models.
Any Sprint customers out there already thinking about grabbing a Windows Phone 8 model with your carrier's brand on it?
