Why Android 4.1 is better than Apple’s iOS
As to the reasons why Android 4.1 is better than Apple’s iOS, here are the other amazing Android 4.1 features that people should know:
- Improved Google Voice Search – Android users will no longer have reasons to envy iOS owners with their Siri since the Google Voice Search is even better for being tied up with a very strong search engine which is none other than, Google. As if this is not enough, the responsive voice feedback and the new interface makes searching through mobile perhaps, even more convenient and fun compared to searching through desktops or laptops.
- Smart and improved app widgets – In Android 4.1, the app widgets can be resized to the user’s preference. However, there should be enough space for the expansion of the widget in the home screen. This way, the user can customize their screen by arranging the positions and sizes of the widgets as they wish.
- More efficient Smart App updates – With the Android 4.1, users will no longer have to bear with annoying updates that takes some time, battery life and bandwidth usage. With the Smart app updates, Google play only sends the bits that have changed instead of sending the whole APK, making the updates faster.
- Enhancements to Google Beam – Even while Google is still leading the NFC smartphone integration, it continues to enhance this facility by adding new features. Wireless connection can now be made from the Android device to a Bluetooth device. Soon, Bluetooth devices such as headsets, speakers and keyboards can be paired to the Android device by simply tapping them to each other.
- Updated notifications framework – Users with the Android 4.1 powered device can now receive better notifications with rich media in the drop down menu. The notifications with the new Android 4.1 can also include different types of content such as photos, and can handle different actions.
