Facebook join hands with RCom and Airtel

Facebook has recently partnered with 18 telecom operators in 14 countries including India. The deal will provide users of Reliance and Airtel to use free or discounted access to its Facebook Messenger App.

Airtel prepaid users can have free access to Facebook mobile app with up to 500MB data usage. Airtel’s free Facebook offer comes weeks after Reliance Communications (RCom) launched a Facebook Messenger Plan for all its prepaid GSM customers across the country. RCom’s plan allows users to enjoy free unlimited usage of Facebook Messenger at a monthly rental of Rs.16, without paying any extra data consumption charges
